A letter to my Mom:

For as long as I can remember, my mom and I have always had a shared passion for jewelry and fashion. Going into a store and trying on new, cutting edge jewelry was something that made both of us so excited. Those are some of my fondest memories as a child (and we still do it now!). As crazy as it sounds, exploring new jewelry with my sweet mother taught me two incredible important lessons in my life:

The first lesson is the power of being unique. I remember my mom telling me to look for the jewelry that I’ve never seen anyone wear before, “Look for the jewelry that stands out, makes a statement, turns heads. THAT is the kind of jewelry that is worth investing in. Why? Because it’s unique. You don’t want to be like the others. You want to stand out and be a force to be reckoned with”. I began to apply this to my everyday life. My mom taught me that it’s an amazing thing to be different from other people. And to embrace and love and celebrate those differences.
